Analysis of glare function in COB downlight

Glare - objects with extremely bright brightness or strong contrast in the field of view can cause discomfort or cause visual loss, called glare;
There are two reasons for glare:
First, physiological reasons;
First, the reason for the lamps;
Physiological reasons are:
1. Due to the high-intensity stimulation, the pupil is reduced;
2. Light scattering occurs in the intraocular tissues such as the cornea or the lens to form a light curtain in the eye;
3, because the retina is stimulated by high brightness, the adaptation state is destroyed.
The main factors that cause glare in lamps are:
1, the brightness of the light source (the higher the brightness, the more significant the glare);
2, the position of the light source (the closer to the line of sight, the more significant the glare);
3. The size and quantity of the light source (the larger the apparent area, the more the number of light sources, the more significant the glare);
4, the surrounding environment (the darker the ambient brightness, the eye's adaptation to low brightness, glare is also significant).
There are two ways to control glare:
1. Directly limit the brightness of the light source or use a light-transmitting material to reduce glare;
2. Control the glare with the protection angle of the lamp.
