Cree introduces two new XLamp LED array products that enable high lumen applications including wall and ceiling lights with a single CXA LED series component.
The new CXA3590 LED array delivers 16,225 lumens of light output at 85°C, achieving a 68% brightness improvement over Cree's brightest LED array products. The CXA3590 LED array is the ideal light source to replace the 250W metal halide device, reducing power consumption by 40% and extending service life by a factor of two.
Cree also introduced the CXA3070 LED array, which provides over 11,000 lumens of light output at 85°C and uses the same pin and package design as existing CXA3050 LEDs. Both the CXA3590 and CXA3070 arrays are optimized for simplified design and lower system cost. The new high-light output LED arrays offer up to 134 lumens per watt at 85°C and a color rendering index (CRI) of 70 to 95, continuing to expand the industry's most extensive array of LED arrays. The combination of high light quality, high light output and high efficiency further advances the performance limits of the lighting class.
The new LED products feature and grade at 85°C and support ANSI White and EasyWhite color temperature grading (2,700K to 5,000K), delivering the industry's best color consistency for lighting designs with a single LED component. Cree's two new XLamp CXA3590 and CXA3070 LEDs are available now and are available in volume production with standard lead times.
