BROADCHIP launched a BCT3288 16-channel constant current LED driver for the portable product market. The 64-level constant current output of each channel is convenient and controllable for mobile phones, digital photo frames, notebooks and small appliances. The BCT3288 has 16 independent high-precision current sources with a current sink capability of 40mA per current source. The external hardware circuit of the LED driver is simple. Only one filter capacitor and one resistor for setting the current are needed. The maximum drive current capability of each driver is set by an external resistor. The operating voltage range is 2.7 ~ 5.5V, VIH is 0.6VDD, so it can be well applied to the 2.8V VIO mobile phone platform.
The BCT3288 is a pollution-free, lead-free, environmentally friendly product with an extended industrial temperature range of –40°C to +85°C in a QFN-24 (4mm × 4mm) package.
