Iron Tower Company determines that 31 provinces will be able to build iron towers

On September 1, it was learned that the organizational structure of China Tower Communications Corporation (ie, “Tower Company”) Tower Company is progressing rapidly. At present, the general manager candidates for the 31 provincial companies have been confirmed. At the same time, they are working on plans for the year to ensure that they have the capability to build new towers during the year.

The relevant person in charge of the Tower Company introduced that following the appointment of 3 deputy general managers and chief accountants on August 4, the company completed the selection and appointment of the general managers of the provincial branches in a relatively short period of time.

The 31 general managers of the newly-affiliated Tower Company are all from the communications industry: 10 of them are China Mobile, 9 of China Telecom and 9 of China Unicom, and 3 are from the Provincial Communications Authority.

At the same time, Tower Company is actively organizing its efforts to design the company's operating system and mechanism, and to formulate its work plan during the year in order to ensure that it has the ability to build new towers during the year and is ready to accept the three operators' stock towers.

In July of this year, China Mobile, China Telecom and China Unicom jointly invested 10 billion yuan to establish China Communications Facilities and Services Co., Ltd., commonly known as the "Tower Company". Its main business scope is the construction, maintenance, and operation of China's telecommunications towers and base stations.
