According to Taiwan’s “Electronic Times†report, Apple will launch a new 27-inch iMac by the end of this year. It will be equipped with an ultra high-definition display and will have a resolution of 5K.
In fact, as early as July of this year, when Apple released the beta version of OS X 10.10 Yosemite, it exposed the new iMac. A piece of code in the system shows that it can support up to 6400 * 3600 resolution display screen, which also reached the standard of the retina screen. At present, the iMac models sold are divided into 21.5-inch and 27-inch models with resolutions of 1920*1080 and 2560*1440, respectively.
The outside world believes that if Apple really launched the 5K resolution iMac, then the price of this product will not be cheap, the average price of the 28-inch Ultra HD display in August is about 630 US dollars.
