Recording a volume of Mixtape is a cool thing in the age when MP3 is not yet popular. Now, in order to let everyone get back some of the past, MakerBot has launched a cassette-style Mixtape 3D Molded MP3 player. Although there have been similar USB flash drives or music playback products before, this Mixtape is more DIY spirit. If you have a MakerBot Replicator 3D printer, you can download the design drawings needed to print the player shell and parts from the MakerBot website for as little as $25 (about RMB 160). They are assembled together with the internal memory chips sent by MakerBot, and a special "Mixtape" is completed. Of course, if you don't have a Replicator, you can spend $40 (about RMB 255) to let MakerBot send the printed finished product along with the internal components.
