The objective and harsh use environment such as alternating heat and cold, air pollution, etc. all generate the market demand for modular solutions. In the light source module solution with self-heating, everyone directly exposes the lens made of polymer material to sunlight, and the module uses silicone to seal. The cable connected by the module is also directly exposed to sunlight, and ultraviolet rays. Prolonged exposure to these materials can have a significant impact on the performance of these materials, such as lens yellowing, silica gel deterioration leading to reduced sealing performance, wire aging, and the like.

Therefore, manufacturers should pay close attention to these issues in their own solutions. The light source module solution without heat dissipation, because the light source is protected in a complete body, without lenses, wires and the like directly exposed to the sunlight, the reliability of the design scheme is slightly better.
