The AD623 is an integrated single-supply instrumentation amplifier that provides full supply-amplitude output from a single supply (+3V to +12V). The AD623 allows gain programming with a single gain-setting resistor for good user flexibility. The AD623 is set to unity gain without an external resistor. After an external resistor, the AD623 can be programmed to gain up to 1000 times the gain. The AD623 maintains minimal error by providing an excellent ac common-mode rejection ratio (AC CMRR) that increases with gain gain, and line noise and harmonics are suppressed because the common-mode rejection ratio remains constant up to 200 Hz. . Although the AD623 is optimized for single-supply operation, it still provides excellent performance when operating from dual supplies (±2.5 to ±6V). Low power consumption (1.5 mW at 3V), wide supply voltage range, full power supply amplitude output. Its pin arrangement is shown in Figure 1.
