For smart phone and tablet PC market applications, the new integrated RF solution supports all 3GPP standards, including TD-SCDMA, with global roaming and carrier aggregation functions

BCM21892 conforms to all 3GPP specifications, integrates a fully functional cellular baseband and global radio frequency bands, and the chip area is reduced by about 35% compared to existing solutions. The solution uses advanced power management technology, which can save up to 25% of power consumption during network data transmission. In addition, this modem can support LTE level 4 rate -150Mbps, can operate in all 3GPP networks, and can seamlessly switch between various 4G LTE, 3G and 2G interface technologies.

· Integrated global radio frequency band, can support almost all 3GPP LTE frequency bands and combinations, this function is critical for operators to upgrade 4G LTE network to meet global roaming needs. The chip also uses advanced power management technology, the power consumption when the network sends data can be reduced by up to 25%;

· Integrated LTE voice solution (VoLTE), which enables high-definition voice calls on mobile broadband connections. This feature is a key requirement for operators to transition from traditional networks to next-generation networks. Compared with WCDMA voice calls, Broadcom's VoLTE service power consumption is reduced by about 40%;

· Broadcom's wireless coexistence technology is adopted to enhance interoperability. This technology minimizes radio frequency interference between Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, and 4G LTE, allowing operators to provide a richer Wi-Fi offloading experience;

· Compatible with multiple independent application processors, enabling OEMs to design 4G LTE solutions for a variety of mobile devices
