Anomax has invented a highly energy-efficient 100W (light) LED bulb that consumes only 12W (watts) of power. Compared to today's most energy efficient 100W bulb (23W CFL compact fluorescent energy saving lamp), Anomax's bulb energy saving 48 %.
The bulb is assembled with the commercially available LEDs from the patented IPCHSTM* substrate technology (a low-cost metal core board directly plated on alumina). Anomax calls this technology breakthrough LMR TM*.
According to Anomax, the bottleneck in the development of today's LED bulbs is the ultra-low heat transfer performance of their substrates (3W/MK). The overheated LEDs greatly reduce the output of light energy. That's why LED bulbs that are 60 watts brighter today are only found in R&D labs, and the manufacturing costs are so expensive. IPCHS TM*'s extremely high thermal transfer performance (30W/MK) increases the conversion efficiency of electric power relative luminosity, increasing energy usage by nearly 50%.
It is understood that the total power consumption of a 100W incandescent bulb is about 90W was wasted in generating heat. Although a 100W CFL consumes only 23W, it contains mercury that is harmful to the human body in fragile glass tubes. When it is broken, it will inevitably pollute the environment with mercury. The LMR TM*100W bulb consumes only 12W, which is half of the CFL, and because LED is the source of illumination, LMR TM* is a “complete green processâ€. When making bulbs of other power brightness, the energy consumption of LMR TM* bulbs is always only half that of compact fluorescent lamps.
In addition, energy savings of only about two years is enough to offset the investment in LMR TM* bulbs. More importantly, every 1% reduction in current usage worldwide is equivalent to reducing the energy output of 23 nuclear power plants.
