[High-tech LED News] Citizen Electronics has developed a white LED "CLL-050 Series" with a brightness of up to 169,675 lm. The input power at the maximum brightness is 183.9W, and the luminous efficiency is as high as 96lm/W (when the case temperature is continuously lit at 25°C). The company claims to replace the 300W mercury lamp. The average color rendering index (Ra) is 65 and the color temperature is 5000K.
The CLL-050 series has a frame size of 38mm x 38mm and a thickness of 1.4mm. The input power range is from 24.6 to 183.9W. The luminous efficiency of the Ra65 variety at 24.6W input is about 117 lm. The central portion of the square package is provided with a circular light emitting surface. A structure in which a plurality of blue LED chips are mounted on an aluminum substrate and covered with a resin doped with a fluorescent material is used. The configuration of the blue LED chip has also been improved. It was originally arranged in a square shape in a circular light-emitting surface, and this time it was changed to a circular configuration. When a white LED is mounted on the appliance, it is difficult to form a spot.
In addition to the CLL-050 series, Citizen Electronics has also released four series of different packages with brightness up to 590lm, 1970lm, 5780lm and 1 29915lm. The five series of products, including the CLL-050 series, cover a brightness range of 95 to 177675lm, and can cope with the wide range of requirements from 10W incandescent bulbs to 300W mercury lamps.
