uSens Sense Pushes Mobile End-out Position Tracking Technology Based on SLAM

[Netease smart news July 20 news] uSens Ling sense today announced the introduction of mobile-side Inside-out location tracking solutions.

It is understood that this solution is based on the SLAM algorithm and can be run on the mobile terminal. Without adding feature points in the external environment, it can achieve fast, accurate, low-latency spatial positioning, allowing users to move flexibly in the virtual three-dimensional world. uSens Ling Sen's location tracking program, based on mobile platform development, captures image information through the camera, uses SLAM algorithm, deep learning and computer vision technology, continuously scans and “learns” the surrounding environment, and builds a virtual three-dimensional space, thereby positioning the user's accuracy Location and integration with the virtual world.

Dr. Fei Yue, co-founder and CTO of uSens, introduced: "Location tracking technology can restore the virtual reality of objects and user experience. Computer systems create colors, shapes, sizes, etc., but location information is missing. Our reality The world is three-dimensional, so locating and tracking the user's relative position in the real world and the virtual environment is necessary for an immersive experience."

It is reported that uSens has basically completed 6DOF position tracking and gesture recognition as an integrated solution, using a hardware to achieve a number of interactions, will be released in the near future.
