Developer OKAM Studios recently announced that their VR pirate game "Ship Ahoy" officially supports Oculus Rift.
Steam Ahoy has already been posted on Steam. This means that "Ship Ahoy" opens the door to htc vive and Oculus Rift, allowing more players to join the beta. OKAM Studios, headquartered in Argentina, has been developing their first-person multiplayer VR game for some time. OKAM Studios launched the "Ship Ahoy" beta on the Steam platform last month. In addition to providing a multiplayer online gaming experience, Ship Ahoy now offers some interesting single-player games.
Ship Ahoy first supported htc vive and now finally supports Oculus Rift. In the recent Steam hardware and software survey, Oculus Rift is the most popular VR heads-up with 49.26% share. In view of this, OKAM Studios hopes to increase the player's cardinality, thus increasing the support of Oculus Rift. The team said they are developing the PS VR version, but so far there is no more news.
Ship Ahoy is currently undergoing open beta on the Steam platform and is available for free download. Foreign media said: "Ship Ahoy" is an amazing shooting game. You don't feel uncomfortable when you participate in naval battles. Some elements and gameplay of the game have yet to be improved, but these improvements will eventually come. For the first VR game, OKAM Studio has done much better than other vendors, so I hope they can continue to work hard."
The D-subminiature or D-sub is a common type of electrical connector. They are named for their characteristic D-shaped metal shield. When they were introduced, D-subs were among the smallest connectors used on computer systems.
A D-sub contains two or more parallel rows of pins or sockets usually surrounded by a D-shaped metal shield that provides mechanical support, ensures correct orientation, and may screen against electromagnetic interference. The part containing pin contacts is called the male connector or plug, while that containing socket contacts is called the female connector or socket. The socket's shield fits tightly inside the plug's shield. Panel mounted connectors usually have threaded nuts that accept screws on the cable end connector cover that are used for locking the connectors together and offering mechanical strain relief. Occasionally the nuts may be found on a cable end connector if it is expected to connect to another cable end. When screened cables are used, the shields are connected to the overall screens of the cables. This creates an electrically continuous screen covering the whole cable and connector system.
ANTENK offers one of the most comprehensive lines of high reliability D-Subminiature connectors available for military, avionics, space and high reliability industrial applications.
