A series of compounds which are linked to each other and whose basic core is 2-phenylchromanone. A functional group such as a phenolic hydroxyl group, a methoxy group, a methyl group or an isopentenyl group is often bonded to the flavonoid structure. In addition, it often combines with sugars to form glycosides. OBJECTIVE: To investigate the effects of extraction solvent, extraction time and extraction times on the yield of total flavonoids in Radix Astragali. Methods: UV spectrophotometry was used to determine the total flavonoid content obtained by different extraction solvents, different extraction times and different extraction times. RESULTS: The optimal extraction process of total flavonoids from Astragalus membranaceus was found by orthogonal experiment. Conditions: 30% ethanol extraction 3 times, dosage: 12, 10, 10 times, time: 2, 1, 1h. Modern pharmacological studies have proved that Astragalus membranaceus not only has obvious antibacterial, anti-inflammatory, anti-allergic, anti-oxidant, anti-cancer and anti-viral effects, but also has a certain effect on cardiovascular diseases. Most of the research reports on the extraction of baicalin from Astragalus membranaceus are decoctioned with water as a solvent, but the yield of baicalin is low and the production cycle is long. In this study, orthogonal experiments were carried out, and total flavonoids were used as indicators.
